Pleasant interior of a 2020 Nissan Versa viewed from the side. Alas, there is no sunroof.

Does the 2020 Nissan Versa have a sunroof?

2020 Nissan Versa Sunroof

The Nissan Versa has been fully redesigned for 2020, and it’s hard to think of how we could be any happier with it. Our favorite element has to be the new interior, which has been fully redesigned for 2020 with a lovely layout and quality materials. But perhaps the best news of all is that the whole ride still comes at a great price.

This holds true for whichever of the three trims you choose to enjoy. Even the base level now boasts an impressive assortment of standard features. But one question we keep getting asked is: which 2020 Nissan Versa comes with a sunroof?

Unfortunately, the 2020 Nissan Versa does not come with a sunroof (or the option of one) at any trim level. It does, however, come with a quality interior and plenty of standard features.

2020 Nissan Versa Interior

The interior of the 2020 Nissan Versa is outfitted with a variety of impressive materials. The atmosphere is delightfully refined, and vibes feel more premium than years past. It also maintains most of the roomy seating space that Versa models from those previous years were known for.

Though it’s still not the ride to choose if power is your top priority, the transmission inside the 2020 Versa is smooth and the fuel economy is respectable.

Driver Assistance on the 2020 Nissan Versa

The 2020 Nissan Versa receives an impressive array of standard driver assistance features, many of which are not available in rival subcompact cars. These include:

  • Forward collision warning
  • Pedestrian detection
  • Forward and reverse automatic emergency braking
  • Lane departure warning
  • Automatic high-beam headlights
  • Rearview camera

What are the trims of the 2020 Nissan Versa?

The 2020 Nissan Versa comes in three different trim levels: S, SV and SR.

What’s new on the 2020 Nissan Rogue?

2020 Vs. 2019 Nissan Rogue

Whenever a model rolls in for the latest model year, we’re excited to see what’s changed. What additions and gadgets have been added? What styling is reworked? What new tech will be found inside?

Among crossover SUVs, the Nissan Rogue continues to stand out. As a new model has just rolled onto our lots for 2020, we find ourselves asking: what’s new on the 2020 Nissan Rogue?

View Our New Nissan Rogue Inventory

In a word, not much. There are no significant changes to the Nissan Rogue for the 2020 model year, except for the fact that the Rogue Hybrid iteration has been discontinued. The good news is that this means the machine retains its muscular looks, modern technology, and supremely healthy array of active safety.

The 2020 Nissan Rogue still has one of the best fuel economy ratings among compact SUVs: it gets up to 33 miles-per-gallon on the highway when using front-wheel drive. It’s shockingly well-rounded, and its cargo area is still the versatile cavern that acolytes swear by.

A single powertrain still powers every trim of the Nissan Rogue for 2020: a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that pumps out 170-horsepower. This engine is happily wedded to a continuously variable automatic transmission.

When will the Nissan Rogue be redesigned?

It’s widely believed that a redesign of the Nissan Rogue will be released for the 2021 model year. It will likely hit dealerships around the end of 2020. A prototype of the next-generation Rogue has been spotted that appears to have taken strong influence from the 2018 Nissan Xmotion concept vehicle.

Though the current Nissan Rogue is still a great value and a top seller, it remains part of the second Rogue generation that was introduced back in 2014. It was, however, updated and refreshed for 2017, the benefits of which carry onward into the current year’s model.

What song is in the commercial for the 2020 Nissan Altima?

While we’re definitely excited about the 2020 Nissan Altima itself, one of our favorite things about a new model year might be a bit surprising- the new commercials! Nissan always does a great job on its advertisements, and particularly has a knack for choosing catchy songs that we just can’t get out of our heads. What songs are in the 2020 Nissan Altima commercials?

The songs in the commercials for the 2020 Nissan Altima are “Level Up,” by Ciara, and “Play My Game,” by The Donnas.

2020 Nissan Altima Commercial #1: “Impossibly Smart”

The first commercial we’d like to look at is dubbed “Impossibly Smart.” This one features the song, “Level Up,” by Ciara. Though originally debuted for the 2019 Nissan Altima, the commercial has been updated to advertise the 2020 model.

“Impossibly Smart” highlights the intelligent driver-assistance technology that’s found on the 2020 Nissan Altima. We see a woman using ProPILOT Assist to cruise easily in a lane, as the vehicle keeps a set distance behind other traffic and then begins to itself speed up while staying centered. As an incoming call from her husband is displayed conveniently on the infotainment screen, the woman looks in the rearview mirror and smiles at her daughter, who is safely buckled in a child seat in back.

2020 Nissan Altima Commercial #2: “Surround Yourself with Protection”

The second 2020 Altima commercial that prominently features music utilizes the song, “Play My Game,” by The Donnas. The commercial begins with a group competing in a roller derby. The formation that they skate in is a visual representation of the protective ring of smart safety tech that exists on the 2020 Nissan Altima.

Specifically, this is a reference to the available Safety Shield 360 technology, which forms a part of the Nissan Intelligent Mobility philosophy. These systems bring awareness and assistance to the driver, helping to usher in the future of driving.

While the “Surround Yourself with Protection” commercial is unfortunately not on Youtube, you can watch it here.

How many airbags are in the 2020 Altima?

Airbags in the 2020 Nissan Altima

The 2020 Nissan Altima further refines the fully redesigned 2019 model that brought a big upgrade to the popular line. The sedan continues to be acclaimed for its array of cutting-edge features, excessively comfortable seats, and engine that weds both power and efficiency.

It also continues to keep driver and passenger secure with modern safety features. Though they don’t get the spotlight as often as the latest computerized lifesaving gizmos, airbags remain a central element of the automotive safety experience. How many airbags does the 2020 Nissan Altima have?

The 2020 Nissan Altima comes with ten standard air bags. Together, they comprise the Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, which includes:

  • Dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors.
  • Driver and front-passenger knee-mounted air bags
  • Front and rear seat-mounted side-impact supplemental air bags
  • Roof-mounted curtain side-impact supplemental air bags with rollover sensor

Altogether, this suite of airbags combines to keep occupants of the 2020 Nissan Altima as cushioned as possible in the event of a collision.

Safety Features of the 2020 Nissan Altima

Other safety features in the 2020 Nissan Altima go by intriguing acronyms like VDC, TCS, and ABS. Read on to find out not only what these acronyms stand for, but what they do.

  • Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC): When oversteer or understeer are detected, the Vehicle Dynamic Control feature makes the smart choice to reduce engine power and apply brake pressure to specific wheels to help the driver deal with it.
  • Traction Control System (TCS): When troublesome wheelspin occurs, the Traction Control System responds instantly by helping to reduce the throttle. This allows the driver to regain available traction and maintain control.
  • Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS): If the driver needs to slam on the brakes, ABS pumps the brakes rapidly to prevent the wheels from locking. This allows the driver to maintain steering control and better avoid obstacles.
  • Electronic Brake force Distribution: This feature doesn’t get a cool acronym (and for some reason “force” is not capitalized), but we still need to give it credit. This advanced braking system sends extra force to the rear brakes when there’s additional weight in the vehicle.
  • Brake Assist: If a hard-braking situation is detected, Brake Assist helps apply maximum braking force.
  • LATCH System: Nissan wants to keep your kids safe too. The LATCH system allows LATCH-compatible child restraints in the back seat to be secured without the need for seat belts or a locking clip.
